Monte Lema  1620m.ü.M

Monte Lema is 1624 meters high and has the most splendid panoramic peak in the Italian region of Switzerland. From its naturally green terrace there is a dominating view of the southern valleys of Tessin, the Lake of Lugano, the valleys in the area of Luino and the Lake Maggiore. The impressive scenery comprises also the Bernese and Grisonese alps, the peaks of Wallis and the plains of Lombardy. Monte Lema is considered an important natual oasis and from here there are innumberable fascination excurtions that follow the contour of the mountain crest and wind along ridges.
